Which URL do I use?

PayPal.me/yourhandle/100, a Stripe Payment Link starting with buy.stripe.com, a UPI intent like upi://pay?..., or a hosted checkout URL from any provider. Anything that opens a payment flow in the client's browser works.

Where the QR appears

The QR is embedded on the invoice PDF (bottom right) and on the public share page (right column), so however your client reads the invoice, tapping to pay is one step away.
